Who we are

Nodinson Plastic Mould Co., Ltd was established in 2001 in Shenzhen, China. We are an injection mold manufacturer and plastic injection molding company, serving plastic molding companies and mold makers in America and the EU, and manufacturers who buy molded parts directly.

Our factory occupies 3,000 square metres in Honghengtai Hi-Tech Park, Guangming District, with the capacity for the whole mold making process: engineering, prototypes, mold design, machining, assembly, trials and production molding. Our quality system is certified to ISO 9001:2015.

What we specialise in

Over the years our team has designed and built molds for medical device parts, automotive parts, double-injection (2K) parts, consumer electronics, industrial equipment, power tools, household appliances, and food containers and packaging. We supply molds and parts to customers in Europe, America and Asia at competitive prices, with short delivery times and dependable after-sales service.

So many mold makers. Why choose us?

  • Up to 90% T1 success rate and a 95% on-time delivery rate.
  • More than a mold maker: we provide a one-stop plastic solution from part design to molded parts.
  • Engineering support before and after the order: our engineers advise on part design, budget and market volume to find the most suitable solution and reduce your risk.
  • Problems solved before steel is cut: we analyse the part with you and improve it before mold making, instead of reworking the mold after the trial.
  • Optimised mold design, skilled toolmakers and strict management, so we can deliver higher quality molds at lower cost in shorter time.

FAQ

Questions about working with us

Ask an engineer

What tolerances can Nodinson hold on molds and molded parts?

Mold components are machined to 0.01 mm and molded parts are held to 0.02 mm on critical dimensions, verified on CMM. Steel components for machining customers can reach 0.005 – 0.01 mm. Achievable tolerance depends on resin shrinkage and part geometry, so we confirm it per feature during the DFM review.

What size of mold and part can you make?

We build molds from 98 kg up to 10 tonnes, with a maximum mold size of 1700 × 1500 mm. Molded parts range from 1.2 g to 10 kg, and the thinnest wall we mold is 0.5 mm.

Do you sign an NDA, and who owns the mold?

Yes. We sign your NDA before you send drawings, and most of our projects are confidential — the parts on this site are examples shared with permission. The mold you pay for is your property: it is marked with your part number and can be shipped to your own plant at any time.

Which mold standards and steels do you use?

Molds are built to HASCO, DME, LKM or the nearest DIN standard, or to your own data sheet. Typical steels are LKM 2767, 2344, 2311, 738H and 838H, ASSAB 718H and S136, DIN 1.2344 ESR and 1.2083 ESR, AISI H13 and 420 stainless, and Finkl P20 / P20HH. Hot runners can be Mold-Masters, Husky, HASCO, DME, YUDO, INCOE or Synventive. See our steel certificates.

Can you ship the mold to our own molding plant?

Yes. Many customers in Europe and the USA buy the tool only. Every mold is cleaned, marked, checked against a shipment checklist (cooling circuits, sprue, locating ring, ejection, support pillars) and packed for export. You receive T1 samples and a first article inspection report before shipment.
