Over the past years, global materials companies have invested in compounding plants in China for engineering plastics such as polyamide (PA), acetal (POM), thermoplastic polyesters and TPEs. One example is DuPont's announced specialty materials facility in Zhangjiagang, Jiangsu, focused on engineering plastics and adhesives for transportation, electronics, industrial and consumer markets.
Why local resin supply matters
- Shorter lead times for branded engineering grades.
- Easier access to the exact grade named on a European or American drawing.
- Consistent quality when the compounder's global specifications apply locally.
How we buy resin
We follow the material named in each customer's data sheet. Imported and branded materials are purchased through authorized agents of international producers from the USA, Germany, Japan, Taiwan and elsewhere, and we keep certificates for traceability. RoHS and FDA-compliant grades are available when the product requires them.
The resins we mold most
Glass-filled PA66 for structural parts, ABS and PC for housings, PP for medical and interior parts, POM for mechanical parts, and TPE / TPU for overmolding. See our plastic parts for examples.
Our engineers review drawings and reply in English.
